Mount Pleasant Neighborhoods
Mount Pleasant is one of the most desirable areas in Charleston County. Nestled East of the Cooper River, Mount Pleasant is home to fantastic schools and elegant neighborhoods. Click below to explore some of Mount Pleasants most popular neighborhoods.
Dunes West
An unparalleled blend of days gone by and present day amenities, Dunes West offers home buyers the opportunity to live in residential neighborhoods built in true harmony with the Low Country's natural surroundings and historic past.
Hobcaw Creek Plantation
Hobcaw Creek Plantation, located just off Long Point Road. The neighborhood itself is lovely, with mature trees and shrubs adding to its curb appeal. Most of the residences in Hobcaw Plantation are large - no starter homes here - and, toward the back of the subdivision, they tend to be small estates with private docks on the creek leading to the river.
Longpoint
Development of Longpoint began in the late 1980s, so the community has the patina of maturity, with lovely tree-shaded lots in the handful of neighborhoods that lie to either side of Needlerush Parkway. There are about 450 homes in Longpoint, most built on larger-than-average lots and nestled among whispering pines and sturdy oaks. Homes range from about 1,300 square feet to more than 4,000, with prices starting in the mid-$200s and rising to $800,000.
Park West
Nestled in the shadows of moss-draped oaks, tall pines, palmetto trees and the natural splendor of the Lowcountry, this 1,700-acres situated along Hwy. 17 in Mount Pleasant is a community of incomparable beauty. Bordered by the forest preserve of Laurel Hill Plantation and four and one-half miles of the scenic Wando River and the long, winding Toomer and Darrell creeks, Park West epitomizes Lowcountry living with serene water views and all the beautiful wildlife that forested, waterfront and marsh land attracts.
Snee Farm
Nearly 40 years ago, when the first residents moved into the new homes in Snee Farm, many people shook their heads in amazement. Why would anyone want to live so far away? Today, Snee Farm, located on Highway 17 just north of what is now the Isle of Palms Connector, is almost in the center of the town of Mount Pleasant and is convenient to literally everything, including excellent schools, shopping, medical care and the beach.
